It was bound to happen eventually. Las Vegas has a knack for combining elements of life that most people wouldnâ??t (or canâ??t) do at home – a basketball hotel room, a swimming pool nightclub, a casino with a dolphin tank.

The latest: The “world’s first luxury gun lounge.”

He continues with:

Firing ranges in Las Vegas area booming business (pun intended) and it was only logical that someone would add the velvet-rope exclusivity and luxury to your average concrete bunker with noisy firearms.

 So it’s obvious he’s enthralled with our digs, right? But then he questions our DJ skills!

Itâ??s unclear if the firing range ultra-lounge has a DJ â?? or what will happen to the DJ if he doesnâ??t keep the crowd happy.

Ok, so, we can’t really talk about that…but, we do love the sound of an M-60 machine gun in the morning!

Anyhow, Spud closes his review with an interesting idea for a shooting contest:

Basically a firing range, where they supply the guns, ammo, targets and a T-shirt. No mention of alcohol (a good thing), unless I missed it in my quick look. Even have a set up for kids with .22s. Sounds like good, clean, family fun.

So there you have it. The world’s first luxury gun range, sans DJ and boob job contests, in an environment that’s good, clean family fun.

Tour Machine Guns Vegas

For those looking for a different experience, there’s a new gun range downtown called Machine Guns Vegas. 702 Shooter covered the building of this one-of-a-kind indoor gun range in a two-part series.

This video walkthrough shows how the structure was transformed into what is the world’s first luxury gun ultra-lounge. Says 702shooter:

“We left off with an empty, half painted building and a little bit of frame work on some of the internal walls. Today, things are looking very different at Machine Guns Vegas. I’ve been stopping by about once a week to check on the progress and take some photos here and there. Lets get to showing those and catching you all up on what’s been going on at MGV.

For starters, MGV had to put up a couple of walls to separate the storage / expansion area from the ranges. These walls needed to be re-enforced with rebar and concrete and the building’s cement floor was not solid enough to support the weight. Before the new walls could be built, the floor had to be cut out so better foundations could be made for the walls. The ditches you see in the photos is where the walls will be built.”
