.50 AE / .44 Mag

The Desert Eagle is a gas-operated, semiautomatic pistol with a large frame. It was designed by Magnum Research in the U.S., but is primarily produced by IMI in Israel. From 1996 to 2000, production of the firearm was moved to Saco Defense in the state of Maine, which carried the XIX designation. Production shifted back to Israel when General Dynamics acquired Saco. The Desert Eagle is featured in approximately 500 motion pictures and TV films, increasing its popularity and boosting sales.
