Delta Force vs. SEAL Team 6: What are their differences

The origins of both Delta Force vs. SEAL Team 6 are fascinating and rich in history. Delta Force was officially established in 1977, under the official name of 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta, by Colonel Charles Beckwith. It was formed in response to the increasing number of terrorist attacks around the world. On the other hand, SEAL Team 6, also known as DEVGRU, was created in 1980 following the failure of the mission to rescue hostages in Iran. Both developed in a context where the need for efficient special operations forces became evident.
