More Information

The M4 is a magazine-fed, air-cooled, gas-operated, selective fire, shoulder-fired weapon with a telescoping stock. The gun has a 14.5 in. (370 mm) barrel, which makes it a shortened version of the M16A2 rifle, allowing you to easily operate the gun in close quarters. The M4 has varied fire options, including semi-automatic, full-automatic, and three-round burst.

The M16 served the U.S. Armed Forces faithfully through several times of war, including Vietnam and many more. However, soon enough it will be completely replaced by the M4 carbine—a fast, deadly, and infinitely versatile little beast of an American gun. Our full auto M4 is designed to go from single shot, to burst fire, to fully automatic, meaning no matter how you want to shoot, this gun is the perfect fit. You can find this firearm in several of our gun packages, including Seal Team 6, Gamers, Compound, Full Auto, and more.

The M4 is a shortened version of the M16A2, and like all guns in its family, it is gas powered and fires the .223 caliber round, also known as the 5.56 MM NATO round. This gun has gone through several iterations and improvements in its lifetime, constantly refined by our armed forces to create a better, more accurate, more effective machine. The full auto M4 in our armory is maintained with the care we show to all of our artillery, so that when you take it out onto the range, nothing gets in the way of your white-knuckle, full-auto experience. M4

Very few weapons in the entire world are as popular or noticeable as the M4 Carbine. The M4 is a lighter and shorter version of the famous M16 assault rifle. It is chambered in the 5.56x45mm NATO, is air-cooled, and operates with an expanding gas system. The M4 is most commonly known for its service with the United States Armed Forces and is actively replacing the M16 in the United States Army and United States Marine Corps combat units as the primary infantry firearm. The M4 can also accept many different attachments, including things like M203 and M320 grenade launchers.

After the M16 was adopted in service with the United States Armed Forces, carbine versions were developed for close combat situations. These rifles served throughout Vietnam and the following wars. In 1984, the first official M4 was built and was later tested in May of 1985. The first design models hand upper receivers with A1 sights, as well as a longer 14.5-inch barrel for a bayonet and M203 grenade launcher. A second model was designed and built in May of 1986 and was then tested the following year. This one featured A2 sights and had the M16’s 1:7 inch rifle twist to be able to use heavier bullets.

The M4 was officially adopted into service by the United States Armed Forces in 1994, and it first saw official action by U.S. troops that were deployed to Kosovo in 1999. It then went on to see plenty of action in the following years due to the Global War on Terrorism, including both Operation Enduring Freedom as well as Operation Iraqui Freedom. The M4 quickly replaced most submachine guns in the armed forces, due to its lightweight, better ammunition, and high rate of fire. By 2005, the M4 had basically replaced all of the M16A2s as the primary assault weapon of forward-deployed troops.

The M4 is much shorter and lighter than an M16 but is still very similar. In fact, they share 80% parts commonality. The M4 is much handier and easier to carry than a full-length rifle, and the only sacrifice is slightly inferior ballistic performances. Because of the popularity of the rifle and its widespread use, it is no surprise that the M4 has a solid place in pop culture and the media. The M4 can be seen in many film franchises such as Tears of the Sun, Terminator, Bad Boys, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Batman Begins, Shooter, Spiderman, and many others. It is a prominent feature in popular video games such as Fortnite, Pubg, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and many others.
